I'm Sophia, and I believe the perfect drink is the finishing touch to any great day. Whether it's a refreshing iced tea on a hot afternoon or a sophisticated cocktail for a party, I love experimenting with flavors that surprise and delight. My specialty is creating drinks that look like they came from a high-end bar but are incredibly simple to whip up at home.

My Culinary Philosophy

• Color & Presentation: We eat (and drink) with our eyes first. I love using natural ingredients like berries and herbs to create stunning colors.
• Balanced Flavors: A great drink should never be just sweet. I focus on the balance between tart, sweet, and aromatic.
• Zero-Stress Hosting: My recipes are designed to be made in batches so you can spend more time with your guests and less time behind the counter.

My Background & Expertise

Coming from an Italian-American background, hospitality is in my DNA. I’ve spent years behind bars and in kitchens learning the art of the "pour." I brought that expertise to Velvety Recipes to create a beverage program that ranges from the viral Jamaican Purple Rain to healthy, soothing ginger-lemon teas. If it's liquid and it's delicious, I'm probably working on a recipe for it.
