Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs green grapes
  • 2 lbs red grapes
  • 8 oz full fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup full fat sour cream
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecan halves

Instructions:

  1. Wash the 2 lbs green and 2 lbs red grapes. Pull them off the stems and discard any that look shriveled.
  2. Dry the grapes completely. Use a clean kitchen towel to pat them down. If they're wet, the dressing won't stick.
  3. Beat the 8 oz cream cheese. Use your hand mixer until it looks smooth and fluffy.
  4. Add the 1 cup sour cream. Mix on low speed until fully incorporated and glossy.
  5. Pour in 0.5 cup granulated sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat for another minute until the sugar feels less gritty.
  6. Fold the grapes into the cream mixture. Use a spatula to coat every grape until they are completely smothered.
  7. Transfer to your serving bowl. Smooth out the top so it's ready for the garnish.
  8. Chop the 1 cup pecans. Keep them in chunky pieces for a better mouthfeel.
  9. Sprinkle the 0.5 cup brown sugar over the top. Do this until a thin, even layer covers the surface.
  10. Top with the chopped pecans. Gently press them into the sugar layer.
