Ingredients:
- 113g unsalted butter, melted
- 200g granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 5ml vanilla extract
- 30g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 65g all-purpose flour
- 1.5g salt
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
- Whisk the melted butter and granulated sugar together until combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking vigorously for 1-2 minutes until the mixture becomes pale and slightly fluffy.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt.
- Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until no streaks of flour remain.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20-22 minutes until the edges are set and slightly dull, but the center still has a slight wobble when shaken.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment paper.
